The Englishmen then commenced their second innings, and had put together 52 runs without the loss of a wicket, whan play was stopped owing to the visitors being unable to continue the match, they baring to leave for Melbourne in order to commence a match against a combined eleven of Australia on Saturday; The looal match was declareddrawn.
