THE FORTHCOMING RACE MEET ING. Br Sphynx. Many of the horses engaged in tho Oamaru Jockey Club's meeting, to beheld on Thursday and Friday next, are now in Oamaru, and most of them are being exercised on the race-course. This morning Randwick, Libeller, and Adamant took active exercise on the race grounds, and all appear to be in admirable form. Pilot Fish also took a rousing gallop in, company with Levant. The Fish is a very difficult horse to ride, his love of having his own will and choosing the way in which he should go rendering necessary a. strong rider on his back. This morning his jockey managed to keep him straight, and he showed up well. The horses now in Oamaru are Clarence, Libeller, Randwick, Adamant, Levant, Pilot Fish, and Sultana.
