The yield from 931bs of stone from the new rpef at Te Aroha was 2dwts of retorted gold, Apother parcel of stone showing gold, and obtained from a different part of the district, has been lodged with the Warden to-day. There are not more than 30 men on the new field, and little interest is taken in the eubject.
