THE FIFTEENTH ANNUAL EXHIBITION OF STOCK, AGRICULTURAL PRODUCE, AND FARM IMPLEMENTS, Will be held on the Association's New Grounds, Wai-iti Road, OS TUESDAY -AXD WEDNESDAY, OCT. 26 AND 27The Association offers Prizes of Plate, Moncv, and Medals in each class, viz. : Horse's, Cattle Sheep, Pigs, Poidtry, and Agricultural Produce, &c M and the following PRIVATE PRIZES. Messrs. F. Archer, J. T. Ford and Co., and Evans give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize-taker in Merino' fcheep. Value, L2l. New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company give a Silver Cup to the Largest Prize-taker in Longwool Sheep. Value, L2I. The Timaru Drapers give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize-taker in Draught Horses. Value L2l. Several Gentlemen give a Pigakin Saddle and Bridle for the Best (Hunter Class) Performer over 3 Flights of Hurdles. Value Ll2 12s. National Mortgage and Agency Company give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize-taker in Shorthorned Cattle. Value LlO 10s. The Timaru Butchers give a Prize to the Largest Prize-taker in Fat Cattle. Value LlO 10s. New Zealand and Australian Land Company give a Cup for the best Yearling Colt or Filly by " Farmers' Fancy." The Company will not compete for the prize. Value L 6 6s. Messra. Jonas, Hart, and Wildie gave a Piece of Plate for the best Draught Entire owned by a resident in South Canterbury. Value L 5 ss. Messrs. "Maclean and Stewart give a Piece of Plate for the Largest Prize-taker in Draught Stock, being a resident in South Canterbury. Value, L 5 ss. Licensed Victuallers give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize-taker in Pigs. L 5 os. Licensed Victuallers give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prizc-taker in Ayrshire Cattle and Best Dairy Cow Class. Value, L 5 os. Mr. Evans (President), gives a Piece of Hate for the best Thoroughbred Entire. Value, L 5 03. P. Cunningham and Co. give a Piece of Plate to the Largest Aggregate Scorer in Agricultural Produce. Timarn Grocers give a Cup for the most Points in Ham and Bacon. Value, L 4 4s. Messrs. G. and T, Young give a Piece-of Plate for the Largest Scorer in all Classes of Dairy Produce, Haijis and Bacon included. Value, L 3 10a. Mr. John Kelland gives a Prize to the Largest Scorer in Points taken by a Farmer farming over 200 acres, and under 400—Value, L 3 3s. Mr. John Kelland gives a Prize to the Largest Scorer in Points taken by a Farmer farming under 200 acres. Value L2 2s. Mr. S. Shappere gives a Piece of Plate to the Largest Prize - taker in Poultry. Value, L 3 10s. A. Blytt give 3 a Piece of Plate for the Best Display of Fancy Butter, not less than Two Pound. Value, L2. The Trustees of the late John Craniond give a First Prize of L 3, and Second prize of L2, for the best Two-year-old Colt or Filly by Draught Entire, "Young Royal Connqueror."
