LATE ENGLISH NEWS.
(Per Wakatipu, at Wellington.) (SPECIAL TO SYDNEY MORNING HERALD.) London, July 6. Sir Daniel Cooper presided at the adjourned meeting of representatives of the various British Colonies in reference to the unity of the Empire. A long discussion took place, but the subject was virtually postponed till the winter. A Committee was, however, formed to consider the best means of improving the indefinite relations which exist on many points between England and her Colonies.: July 7. Turkey is mobilising her army corps at Adrianople and fortifying Hellespont. She is also'sending troops to Salonica. Greece is mobilising her reserves. s£Leave of absence has been suspended to 'the Austrian army occupying Bosnia. - (NEWS SPECIAL.) London, July 5. .
