Brisbane, January 9. Mr. Mulligan, the prospector, has returned from the Ring and Lukin Reefs, and reports that he found gold, but not of a payable character.. Sydney, January 9. Arrived—Hero, from Auckland. The barque Bobycito, bound from Dunedin to Newcastle, has been spoken off Wollongoro with only her mainmast standing and her forehold apparently filled with Tivater. She declined assistance.
