GERALDINE RACES. Timabxt, September 2G. The Geraldine races to-day were again ! well attended, and the events, as a rule, well contested. The following are the results, so far as they have come to hand :—- Geraldine Cup, of 100 sovs. Messrs. Mason and Vallance's Pinfire ... 1 Mr. Waddell's Rangitira ... ... ... 2 Mr. Walker's Libeller 3 Hack Huiujle Race, of 10 sovs. Mr. Plimmer's Johnny 1 Mr. P. H. Duncan's Milo 2 Ladies' Pukse, of 25 sovs. Mr. Walker's Libeller 1 Mr. Butler's Te Whetu ... ... ... 2 CouNTi" Plate, of 40 savs. Mr. Mundell's Julia 1 Two other races were run, but the results did not come in.
