Wellington, September 4. The Wellington country districts nomination resulted as follows :—Mr. F. Green, proposed by Mr, C. Thompson, seconded by Mr. A. de B. Brandon ; Mr. F. Brady, proposed by Mr. J. Foyer, seconded by Mr. C. B. Izard ; Mr. P. Monaghan, proposed by Mr. J. Anderson, seconded by Mr. Charles O'Neil. The returning officer declared the show of hands to be in favor of Mr. Izatd. The poll will take place on the 9th inst. Messrs. Hunter and Levin addressed the electors last night, and each received a vote of confidence. The contest for the city is causing great excitement, and it is expected to be very close.
