TELEGRAMS.
(per press association.) WELLINGTON. July 7. The Harbormaster to.-day received the following telegram from Pilot Holmes 1 " Pilot Station. —The Harbormaster, Weir lington,—A quantity or a wreck lias been found at Pencarrow. Deck planking three inch, some portion of bulwarks and rail painted green, and cabin fittings in birds'eye maple panelled. Some of the wreckage is painted blue. The figure-head is a fiddle, with a shield in the centre painted vermillion. The scroll-work is in green and gold. Tiiei'ie is also a g,ean)an's chest without a lid, and with n.o inarks, and part of a boat painted black. The wreckage is scattered from Pencarrow Head to Salt "Water Lake." The Pilot has been instructed to make a careful search for anything likely to identify the vessel, and if necessary a steamer will be sent to search. July 8. At the Supreme Gourt ; William Thorne Moore, alias Martin, for larceny, was sentenced to fifteen months' hard' labor ; Francis Kenny, for larceny from the person, to six njonths ; oseph Jamieson Barclay and William Crejghton, for larceny, to six months' each Oswald Wardshall, on two charges for larceny, to twelve months' for each clia,rge. In discharging the Grand Jury, His Honor said that further attendance was not required, as it was ngt intended to proceed against the native prisoners thig session. True bills w.ere found' against ooop'er and Brocjie fqr breach of the Arson Act at Gisborije.
