RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT.

THIS DAY. (Before T. W. I'arkkk, Esq., U..U) Joseph Bosario was brought up on remand charged with obtaining a money order for LI on false pretences from one R. F. Bust and another. Mr. O'Meagher said that he appeared for the accused, and intimated that, as the case had been entered into by two Justices—viz., A. H. Maude and W. H. Huberts, Esqs.—it could only be dealt with by them. His Worship adjourned the case till 2 p.m., when it will be heard before the above-mentioned gentlemen. Neil Docherty was charged with having sold liquor without license. Inspector Thompson asked leave to withdraw the case. The application was granted. N. Lane v. L. Stewart; claim, L2O. Defendant confessed judgment. James Currie v. Thos. Lees; claim, L 54 9d for goods supplied. Judgment, with costs.
