[FROM our OWN CORRESPONDENT.] DUNEDIN". December 6. Sir John Richardson died at half-past two o'clock this afternoon, at the Imperial Hotel, of dropsy. A universal feeling of regret is clearly displaying itself. Sir John's death is a sad loss to the community. Ten declarations of insolvency have been filed this week. With the exception of two Palmerston farmers with liabilities of over L2OOO, the cases are all small.
