BURTON'S AUSTRALIAN CIRCUS.

Although the advent of this circus was not heralded by so loud a blast of trumpets as some of its predecessors, we were well pleased with the performance given by it last evening, and so did the large audience appear to be. The company is a very strong one, both in regard to human and equine performers, and the entertainment provided is really excellent, being alike varied and well carried out. The performing ponies, horse, dog, and monkey went through their different feats in a manner which showed how carefully they had been trained. The two young boys Young Australia and Young Queensland are little wonders, their performances on horseback eclipsing those of many older circus riders. The vaulting of the whole company, the equestrian feats of M. Loyal, the acrobatic feats of Messrs. Walhalla, Lazelle, and Moffit, and the funnyisms of the four clowns (Messrs. Wilson, Max, Bemado, and Rinkle) were each and all capital. Another performance will be given this evening, when " Turpin's Ride to York" will form a portion of the programme, Mi\ Burton appearing in title role. We hope to see the spacious tent well-filled, for we can confidently recommend our readers to pay the circus a visit, feeling assured that they will bo highly amused. On Saturday afternoon a performance will be given for children, and should be well patronised. . •
