AUCTIONEER'S REPORTS. Messrs. Fleming and Hedlcy report tliafc they held a sale of freehold property on Saturday, 21st inst., at their stores. Tynestreet. There was a large attendance, and the bidding for the three farms submitted was unusually spirited. Ist. Farm of SO acres, fell to the bid of Mr. M'Kenzio. after a sharp tussle between himself M'Kay, at the handsome figure of L2o js od per acre. Lot 2, about the same size, was purchased by Mr. M'.Kav, of Allday Bay, after keen competition, at L2O 15s per acre. Lot 3, freehold faun out on the Rapakaio Plain, was purchased by Mr. Eorbes at the Jibdiest price ever given for land in tl.at locality, viz., LIS per acre. They consider these values good tests, as the farms were ifor unreserved sale, and adjoining properties must be set down at those valuations. Messrs. Brown, Sutton, and Co. report that they sold by auction yesterday, at Kakanui, the wreck and cargo (some 300 ■ bngß wheat) of the s.s. Ino. There was a good attendance. The hull fetched La-, ,*nd the total proceeds of the sale was LI 10. ENGLISH COMMERCIAL. (special to ntKss agency.l I.ONnos, September 21.
