The barque* Caberfeidh "has been laid on for Newcastle direct, and will sail on Saturday next. It will be observed by advertisement that her agent (Mr George Sumpter)l is prepared to treat for freight or passages by her. ~,,-, , The schooner Mabel. Jane, Capt. Graham, arrived in port this morning from Dunedin. Sho brings a cargo of timber for Messrs. C. Galbraith and Co. Tho schooner Martha R. id, Gapfc. bundstrum, arrived from Hokitika at an early hour this morning. . The brigantine Kliza Mary, with a cargo of timber, is expected to put in an appearance here in a few days from the Manukau. Tho barque Aikshaw has finished loading and will probably take her departure this evening. The brig Thomas and Henry, Capt. Meyer, bound from Dunedin to Kaipara, passed thiß port about noon to-day. The Underwriters' Association report. under date London, 20th inst., the arrival of the Chilo from Auckland, and the Mendoza from Timaru.
