(reuter's telegrams, per press agency. Sydney, September 10. The Address in Reply, in the Assembly, was carried without a division. The Queensland Parliament is prorogued till the 3rd October. Parliament was opened to-day. The Governor's speech announces that the Government has decided to postpone the issue of the million and a half loan in the London, market, owing to the depressed state of the money market. Many useful measures are promised, including amendments of the Land and Electoral Laws.
AV Bill for the Consolidation of Public Debt, and also proposals for railway construction, embracing a thousand miles of new lines, will be submitted to Parliament. Adelaide, September 10. A, meeting of the National Marine Insurance Company resolved on winding up the Company.
