The evidence showed thai- lie purchased stryyliniiio i'mm a chemist a few days previous. The poison wan found in both the tumbler and glass out of which tiie girl and he drank. A letter was also produced, written by Cox to the girl's brother, saying, "The sin of t!r"s will fall on your own hands, and bring your po-rr father's grey hairs to the grave, but when you get tin's it will be two. Jate for 1110 and Sarah." The evidence went to show that lie meant to poison the girl, and commit suicide.-
