There is a gi-'.a r aeritation in North Q'u-t'nsland against the Chinese. A hiily claims Titieus' great picture, valued at 5000 guineas, found among some broken rubbish here, and stolen 12 years ago. The Europeans at Cooktown have organised a force to drive the Chinese oil' the new rush. London, July 24. The Australians were banquetted in superior style. Earl Salisbury has been created a Knight of the Garter.
