The passengers and crew of the brigantine Ada Owen (with the exception of the captain and two passengers named Nolan and Darrah) wvre stricken with Island fever shortty after leaving the Island. She experienced very heavy weather during the greater part of the voyage. The Snares were made on Wednesday. The Waikato brings forty passengers and a large cargo. The p.s. Samson. Captain Jones, arrived alongside the Breakwater shortly after 4 o'clock yesterday from Dunedin, with a large number of passengers and a good cargo. The barque Palace, Captain Horne. arrived in port vesterday morning from Dunedin. for the purpose of completing her loading for Ancktand. She brought a small quantity of cargo for this port. The ketch Franklin Belle, Captain Brodshaw, arrived in port yesterday morning with a miscellaneous cargo for varions? con-
srgnees. . The schooner Endeavonr, Captain Diok, sailed for Napier on Saturday evening, prodnce laden. The schooner Wanganui, Captain Blaney sailed on Saturday evening for Dunedin, with 1000 sacks of wheat for transhipment to the ship Fernglen, for London. She trill, we believe, be placed in the dock for the purpose of having her hottom examined in consequence of bumping on the bar when leaving Greynionth for this port. After effecting any necessary repairs, she will return to this port, and load for Greymonth.
