DUNEDIN. March 20. The nomination of candidates to represent Tort Chalmers in the House of Bepresentatives in the place of the Ifon. Mr. Iteynolds, is fixed for April 9 ; the poll to take place on the 12th. o LA WHENCE. March 2G. At the school meeting last night, Mr. Fraer quoted the article from the Oamaru Majl, and strongly urged that the Waitaki district should bo represented on the Education Board. The result was that Messrs. Fleming (Waitaki), l>e Lautour (Maniototo), Fraer ( fiiapeka), Clark (Bruce), Bastings ((JoldfieM-).. M'Neil (Clutha), Shawl and iiell (Dunedin and suburban), Fulton (Taieri), were voted for.
