SPECIAL CABLEGRAM.
[from our own correspondent.] Dunedin, March 26. The following special cablegram has been received by the "far : The ship Merchant was List on Dunk Island. Queensland coast. All hands were lost or eaten by the natives, who speared persons attempting to approach the wreck. The island is strewn with wreckage.
