It was rtsolved, on the motion of Mr. R yuolds, to st on Saturdays, from 2.30 p.m. till 11 p.m. Mr. Sheehan, in r«ply to Mijor Atkinson, stated that some of the Bdls embodying the Government proposals would be bron rht down either the following day or on Moiuhr-'.
M ssrs. Shceh-in. Bowen, and Montgomery were a.ppointel Commissioners to draw up reasons for the House of E-'pre-se-ntatives disagreeing with the amendments made in tlie Education Bill by the Legislative Council. The House sit until 1.40 this morning, being occupied the whole of the time with the intimates, a givat portion of wliich were got through. The Volunteer vote was rediic d by L4OOO. It was als . announced that the Constabulary of the M .Idle Idand wouhl be demilitarised and restored t > its fo -mer status.
