SPECIAL CABLEGRAM.
(from our own correspondent.) Dlnedin, October 6. The following is a special cablegram to the Star: —
"London, September 27. "Fighting has been renewed at Plevna. "The Porte has not refused the British fleet admission to the. Dardanelles. ''The Queen has assented to the Queensland Act for the prevention of the influx of Chinese.
" The English novernment has sent a warning note to the Empeior of China re the Woosong railway."
