Ifc is stated in well-informed circles that the no confidence motion will be tabled by Mr. Montgomery to-morrow, and that the leaders of the Opposition, at a meeting this morning, arranged -the basis of action. Mr. Rees will move to-day for a Committee to" inquire 'as- to whether Mr. Whitaker has been disqualified by the Piako Swamp affair. September 19. A meeting of the Opposition leaders was held at half-past twelve to-day, when it was decided to postpone any decisive action in connection with the ousting of the Government until after the Imprest Supply Bill had been considered on Friday next.
