A special cablegram, to the Star, dated London, September 8, says r—Osman Pasha reports that two days' desperate lighting has taken place at Loflcha, the main forces of the armies being engaged therein. T e battle was undecided. 5000 were killed and 1000 wounded. A special to the Argus says that simultaneous attacks on t;,ree differ nt points of the Russian line from Sis!ova to Gabrova is txp. cted. Wi.en reinforcements from Adrianople come up the attack on the S.iipka Pass will be resumed. The English Press consider the Russian position hopeless.
