Ketche —Franklin Belle. ♦ ■ The Union Steamship Company's ps. Samson, Captain Jones, arrived from Dunedin at 1.30 p.m. to-day, with 13 t"ns cargo and 37 passengers. The >amson has taken up the running of the Waitaki whilst the latter is in dock, and will leave again for Dunedin at 10.30 a.m. to-morrow. The topsail schooner Maggie Paterson, Captain Paterscn, sailed this morning for Grevmouth with a cargo of breadstuffs. The ketch Defiance. Captain Burk, left for Dunedtn last night with a quantity of Oi-maru stone shipped by G. Munro. The ketch Palmerston, Captain Brebner. sailed for the Bluff last night with a cargo of breadstuff 3, shipped by Messrs. Hay and Barr. The barque Tasso, Captain Moulton, arrived from Newcastle this morning with 360 tons coal consigned to Jas. Udall.
