A great movement of Turks is taking place "towards Papko* and Kediski. A despatch from Isman, dated August 31-st, states that he made a reconnaissance of the Russian position east of Plevna. He attacked and routed the enemy, which was 30,000 strong. After severe fighting, he carrie:l three redoubts by assault.
