AUCKLAND.
THE AUCKLAND UNEMPLOYED. July 24. At a meeting of Meyers' creditors his estate was vested in Mr. J. M'Farlane, as trustee. The Union Sash and Door Company has declared a dividend of 2j per cent. The ship Yosemite, from London, has brought an iron steamer, in sections, for the North Shore Ferry Company. A deputation representing three hundred unemployed is about to wait upon the Mayor for work. A Maori woman has been apprehended for carrying a dead child in a bundle under her arm. Ifc is supposed that she killed it accidentally in a fit of drunkenness. An Auckland cablegram from London, notifies that a patent lias been granted by the Grand Lodge to Brother G. S. Graham, as District Grand Master, E.C., for Auckland Provincial District.
