Dr. Coward, -i surgeon of the Asylum, gave evidence ti i the effect that Price had never, to hi | knowledge, had a lucid interval, but li ( | was regarded as harmless, and it wi I usual to give such patients considerate ; liberty. He did not consider Price re sponsible for his action. They returned a verdict to tin ) effect that White- died from a stab in \ flicted by Price, who at the time was o ■< unsound mind, adding as a rider tlw more warders should be provided to 100 l after the patients while exercising. i
