MINING EXCITEMENT. June 30. There is considerable excitement here over the Reef ton mining stocks. For the last week the leading stock, such as the Hopeful, Welcome, Fiery Cross, Golden Fleece, and Wealth of Nations, have been advancing in favour. Many parcels of outside scrip changed hands at advanced rates, the brokers doing a large business. One speculator is reported to have made L3OOO during the past six weeks.
