SUPREME COURT SITTINGS.

Blenheim, June 11.

In the Supreme Court, to-day, before the Chief Justice, the Grand Jury made a presentiment, asking for a sitting'of the District Court. The Judge said he would forward it to the Minister of Justice.—

Sarah Ramsay, for forgery at Kaikoura, pleaded guilty. The Grand Jury ignored the bill against William Mackintosh for rick-burning ; he will be sent to Wellington Lunatic Asylum, from whence it was alleged he had escaped. George Kells, of Kaikoura, was acquitted on a charge of cattle-stealing. The Crown abandoned the second charge as a hopeless case.
