The Davenports j| sisted upon being unloosed, amid tj howling of the audience. Fay offered jj go into the cabinet and let the same gi tleman tie him, but the audience wo| not consent, and demanded that ij Davenports should confess themscbj beaten, and apologise. The Brothers \ tired from the stage amidst howls, aj that part of the entertainment was absj doned. Davis and Fay successfully c« tinued their performances, and to-a they announce their withdrawal from | Davenports, and will travel on their o| account. The knot which fixed y Davenports was a double noose one, | tied between the hands like handcuffs,
