Dl-n-edest, April 23. THE GOVERNOR AT DUNEDIN. The Governor will hold an undress levee to-morrow, and the banquet will probably take place on Thursday. THE FISHHOOK CASE. At a meeting of the Dunedin Jockey Club on Saturday evening, it was decided to uphold the decision of the Oamaru stewards. THE SMALL-POX PATIENTS. The small-pox patients at the Quarantine station were admitted to pratique today. AN ACCIDENT. A child named Heads was ran over by a cart, on Saturday, and though severely injured about the head, hopes of its recovery are entertained. THE GOVERNOR HISSED. Mr. Stout has written a long letter to the Guardian showing why the Governor was hissed. NARROW ESCAPE. Mr. W. Oram Ball had a narrow escape from drowning. He was out snipe shootin" with some others on'the bank in the bay, and his companions, on leaving, forgot him. "When rescued, the water was up to Ms armpits, and he was much exhausted.
