FEVER HOSPITAL.

A deputation waited on the Mayor today asking that a public meeting be convened in favour of retaining the Fever Hospital. It was represented that 100 cases of scarlet fever had occurred in the city since the hospital has been closed. T:ie fever is still spreading rapidly among poolfamilies, applications by parents being daily rejected. A meeting has b.en convened for Tuesday next.
