THE WOOL MARKET.
Wellington, March 6.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Ap-ency reports the state of the wool market as follows :—60,000 bales of superior greasy and combings were sold by auction. Washed is firmer ; medium and inferior greasy, easier ; and seedy and hurry wools neglected. The tallow market is flat, and the wheat market quiet. New Zealand is quoted at 54s for 4961b5.
