THIS DAY. [Before T. W. Parker, Esq., R.M.] PERIPATETIC! CATTLE. John Wilson and Bladen Leith were complained against by the Inspector of Nuisances for allowing their twenty-four bullocks —twelve each —to be at large within the limits of the town. Wilson was mulcted in the sum oi 405., and Leitch 20s. ASSAULT. Matliew Clydesdale was summoned for assaulting Robert IVl'lntosh at Oamaru on the 27tli °instant. The Bench considered the case proved, and inflicted a fine of £5. BREACH OF RAILWAY BYE-LAWS. James lluss&ll was charged with entering a railway carriage at Oamaru on the 22nd instant, while the train was in motion, and was ordered to pay 303. fine for the offence.
