NORTH OTAGO AGRICULTURAL AND PASTORAL ASSOCIATION.
We have to apologise for any inaccuracies or omissions which may have appeared in the report of the Show in our issue of last evening, against which it was impossible to provide. Setting aside the " slight" inconvenience of having to stand the brunt of a continuous pelting downpour of rain all day long, with a note-book saturated into pulp, the facilities for ascertaining the dilferent awards were far from easy. To do so, it was almost necessary to have a reporter to each class, who should keep at the heels of their several judges and note the awards. We imagine the plan could have been easily improved upon by having a board for each class in the Secretary's room, and as each section had been dealt with, one of the members attending on the judges to enter the award opposite the name of the successful exhibitor on their respective boards. It may be said that the prize-takers were appended to the exhibit taking the prize, but although this was not done in all cases—the sheep, for instance—even though it were, it would have been equally futile as a means of arriving at the successful competitor, for tiie rain had not only obliterated the pencilling in which the name had been written, but almost washed away the prize tickets themselves. As when our reporter left the ground at five o'clock the whole of the awards had not been made, it was consequently impossible we could give a complete list of the day's proceedings, or to ascertain the different number of points as secured by eacli competitor. We, however, gave the Cups awarded, as far as we could ascertain. The following is the complete list for yesterdny : Class D, Blood Stock, silver cup, value 10 gs, Patcrson and Weedon.
