The schooner Mira has arrived from the Auckland Islands, compelled to give up the search for the wreck of the Genera Grant, the weather being dead againstii They found the cave, but could not approach it from landward side. The clifli were from I,oooft. to ljsooft. high, and the wreck broken tip. Pieces were found on the beach at Ross Bay. The Mira sup plied Nelson and hia wife, placed thereby Dr. Monckton, with provisions. Thq were nearly starving, having been subarting on seal flesh and shell-fish.

At a meeting of cricketers held las night, it was resolved to accept the term of the English Cricketers—to give them« bonus of £6Q and allow them booth privileges.
