' TO THE EDITOR OF THE EVENING MAIL. Sin, —The undersigned would seriously warn the Council of the imminent danget of being swept to sea, should they meet in solemn conclave to-night. I would suggest that they meet a few feet above the dam at Mr. Grave's mill, which a much safer place than the Council Chambers.—l am, &c., Bass Battersby.
