Canada and Australia are familiar with Wild West shows of the type that are known as rodeos. It is a manner of sport little knoAvn to the New Zealander, however, therefore a promise of events along these lines is welcomed. On Boxing Day m Wellington, at the Kilbirnie Speedway Stadium, a Wild . West show will be staged. Local championships Avill be held and competitors are- called for the open buckjumping championship of N.Z.
