Cliff ord Stable Races On By the expressed desire, of the late Sir George Clifford, the Chokebore stable, controlled at Riccarton by Harry and Albert Cutts, will continue its operations. THE chequered livery, which has been so closely identified with the New Zealand turf for over half a century, will run m the name of Sir Charles Clifford, "who succeeds to his father's title. During the latter part of his father's illness Sir Charles took a keen interest m the activities of the Chokebore team. It .was rumored some time ago that he had ideas of cutting the team down, but this policy will not. be given effect
