WEARY housewives who are apt to grouse at life's monotony should go and have a talk with Mrs. C. Fuller, Avho seems to have been everywhere and done everything. Mrs. Fuller, who, by the way, is a cousin of the Earl of Birkenhead, started a conspicuous career by being the '.first woman m England to ride a mou rcycle. She first came to New Zealand
many years ago with the English hockey team, and while she was here went over to look at Australia. Then camo the 1 war, and Mrs. Fuller went Home to do munition work, after which she was drafted to a field hospital m Macedonia, 100 miles from Sal-, onica. turned to England and enlisted 5000 women for the Women's Army. Poland then 1 claimed her for a short spell to do relief work among the poor. Subsequently Mrs. Fuller braved matrimony and went over to America with her husband, where she taught m "Washington and played a 'cello m a theatre orchestra. Her wanderings have taken her through four of the continents of the globe, and now, even after the passing of many years; the lure, of New Zealand has told, and she has returned, she hopes, to stay. .
