He took a terrific beating afterwards, but moved forward all the timp, and was still on his feet atthe finish, though a long way behind on points. The Frenchman, is tough and game, but knows little otherwise. . • . , . Haines gave a great exhibition of cool boxing and scientific hitting. Next Saturday he meets the Italian, Leopardi, Vauclart's mate. ; Jack has several other engagements listed, and if he keeps on winning he should make two thousand pounds m the next six months.
