In all truth P. Sydney Cabot is a man after the heart of Cecil Rhodes and m return 'for the degree of Master of Arts and the Diploma of Education which ho has taken from the Varsity, he has given without stint, of his executive ability and personal attainments towards making the southern university the brightest jewel m the educational crown of the Dominion.
On the field of Rugby he was ever "on the ball," and he is entitled to wear the silver fern of the All Blacks, while In other forms of athletic endeavor, his record is a proud one. President of the Students' Association and.oft-times manager of the tournament teams, he is dragged willy nilly into every movement that is aimed at improving {he status of the student.
As a profession he has adopted the Dominie's gown and if he can turn out students of the same calibre as himself he will be doing well indeed.
