A.: (1) On October 19, 1924, at the Monthlhery track, Paris, John Bruiner covered 69 miles 1525 yards m the hour, his highest speed was equal to 75 miles per hour. ' Hubert Opperman, at the Melbourne Motor Drome registered the record distance of 10 miles m 9min. 30sec. R. W. ("Fatty") Lamb covered (9 miles m Bmin. lSsec).
