Truth" | regarding the advisability of findIng a more roomy track than the present one at Kensington Park were not taken In the right spirit by some of Wnangarei's racing folk. DUT it is pleasing to learn that all the '%cads" are not of that number. They probably realize that a more roomy track than the present one would give every horse m large fields an equal efcanae. It Is explained by them that It Is absolutely Impossible to secure a suitable property within reasonable distance of the northern township. They cannot hope to race elsewhere than on the present location. However, as finance permits, It is the intention to bring about improvements. , -■ They have their eyes set on, an ■ adjacent property which will allow for advancement m keeping with present popularity. Suitable banking at all bends should any remodelling of the Kensington Park course come about, will probably go a long way towards the further advancement of Whangarei racing.
