Off The Cards

Another One Missing , A fortnight back we called attention to the missing of horses out of the acceptances. This was brought about by the noninclusion m the Wellington papers of Chickwheat's name as an acceptor for the Cashmere Plate at Riccarton. Last week there was another case, but it was country punters who were tricked this time. , Highflown who won the last race on the first day at Trentham, was .missing from some country cards. Complaints have reached "Truth" from Palmerston and Masterton, where it is stated Highflown was not included on the cards. ' Some day somebody will get annoyed over this state of affairs, and then possibly some sort of a check will be instituted. It is needed. xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx><xxx
