After it is well heated let it cool to the lukewarm point, although m winter it may be made a trifle warmer than m summer. Sift together well one cup of Duryea's Ivlaizena with flour and salt. Rub m the lard and butter. Follow this with the half yeast cake dissolved m the milk, or two-thirds cup honae-made yeast. Then gradually add the milk, stirring all the time, and heating well for twentyfive minutes after the milk is all m. As soon as it is done, cover well, but loosely, with a cloth and set to rise over night m £ place where it will not become chilled, but will not be too 1 warm. In the morning mould quickly into two loaves and put m buttered pan, and let rise again even with the pan.
