STRAND THEATRE.
Lavishly done, "The Man From Brodney's" literally seizes -11 spectators, and holds them breathless with interest. : This picture was so popular, at the Empress last week that it has been secured by the Strand Theatre ,to enable the many who missed it to see it this week. A most, thrill-, ing and realistic presentation of a' Mohamedan rising against a handful of whites on a small island m the Indian Seas is screened m "The Man From Brodney's," with Warren Kerrir gan once more m a hero role, and dainty Alice Calhoun playing the part of the heroine. Also screening 'is "When Dawn Came," which combines high-class society drama, thrilling melo-drama, and human drama of the slums, a beautiful love story, a tense drama of the underworld, and a bbit^ t spectacular production. Colleen Mdore heads the brilliant cast. A refreshing comedy, an interesting scenic film; the latest Pathe Gazette and the thirteenth episode of "The Purple Riders" i completes this excellent bill of fare I at-- the '-Strand." <
