, A new programme of tip-top films will commence at the Crown matinee, this (Saturday) afternoon. This occasion will mark the appearance of the first of the Crown exclusive "Blue Bird" features, for "Jim, Just Jim," a Trans-Atlantic "Blue Bird" feature, hot from New York, will be shown. It Is a. gripping and powerful drama, a striking tale of ; an ex-convict who fought down his dark record and came out trumps m the end. This truly great picture will be supported by a strong programme of scenic, dramatic, corned lc an<j topical subjects. The Crown Orchestra will dispense delightful music m its inimitable style. Many patrons have taken to visiting the Crown twice for each programme. The first to see the pictures and the second time to pay more particular attention to -t n6 .capable rendition of musical gems by Signor Truda's brilliant orchestra.
