One of the most powerful pictures imaginable will be screened at Everybody's on Monday. "The Golden Claw," a five-act drama, produced by Thomas H. Ince (on© of the great Triangle trio), is the vivid dramatic story of a man who went money mad and neglected his wife so much that she went m pursuit of phantom pleasures until she found herself on the brink of an abyss. The loss- of his money proved the loflestar that brought affection . an d : respect back again. Miss Barrie Barriscall, who takes the leading role m "The Golden Claw" first came prominently before the American public as Lovey Mary, m Mrs. Wiggs of the "Cabbage Patch," and since then she joined the movies and has been, associated with some notable picture successes. Frank Mills, who plays opposite Miss Barriscall, gained his experience on the London stag© with Sir Beerbohm Tree Forbes, Robertson, etc.," before joining tbo Triangle people. It will be noted that throughout the latter part of "The Golden Claw" the husband and wife are practically alone on the screen. The occasional entry of other characters are merely incidental to the play. The personality, of the two leading performers is so great that they can hold patrons enthralled with their dramatic v/ork. "The Golden Claw" achieved a remarkable success In Australia, and it is stated that the Lyric Theatre, Sydney, was packed every night during the screening there. ''The Caretaker's Dilemma" , Kalem comedy, and "Gaumont Graphic" support the star features.
